On August 6, 2024, the Local Government Services Commission of Cross River State, under the leadership of Chairman Mr Darlington Eyo, made a significant courtesy visit to Obol Dr. Innocent Eteng the Head of Service for Cross River State. The meeting was held at the New Secretariat Complex on Murtala Muhammed Highway, Calabar.

The visiting delegation featured key figures from the commission: Hon. Darlington Eyo ( Chairman), Dr. Carol Edem (Commissioner 1), Hon. Inyang Nying (Commissioner 2), Henry Ojong Edward (Commissioner 3), Wokeyim Otu (Commissioner 5), and Hon. Alina Bridget (Commissioner 6). Notably, Commissioner 4, Mr. Daniel Ochui.

During the visit, Chairman Mr Darlington Eyo highlighted the importance of establishing a robust collaboration between the Local Government Services Commission and the Office of the Head of Service. This strategic partnership aims to enhance operational synergy and improve service delivery across Cross River State, ensuring that the commission's objectives align with the state's broader goals.

Obol Dr. Innocent Eteng warmly welcomed the newly appointed commissioners.
