Our country Vietnam is proud of many famous landscapes such as the majestic Ha Long Bay, the ancient Thien Mu Pagoda or the poetic Hoi An. The land of Thang Long - Hanoi is the convergence of many historical relics, beautiful landscapes that captivate people's hearts. But the closest and most familiar to me is Hoan Kiem Lake - a sparkling green gem in the heart of the city. Hoan Kiem Lake is one of the famous landscapes in our country, Hoan Kiem Lake in paintings and photos is beautiful, in real life it is even more beautiful. Located right in the center of the capital, Hoan Kiem Lake has a beauty that is both magnificent and ancient, making people amazed. The blue sky, the blue water, the green trees. The eternal green color covers the sky and earth all year round. All create a beautiful, lively and harmonious picture. The surrounding streets are bustling with people. In contrast to the crowded and bustling of Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake has a peaceful beauty. Around the lake, trees grow densely, all are ancient trees, flower trees planted for many years. What impressed me most were the rows of willows, the cool green Indian laurel trees leaning over, letting their hair fall onto the water like young girls looking at their reflections, showing off their charm. Every time a gentle breeze blew, the leaves would leave the branches, flutter in the air, and then gently fall onto the lake like small boats. Nature adds to the beauty of Hoan Kiem Lake. The water of Hoan Kiem Lake is always clear all year round. The lake is large, deep, the lake surface is clear and calm like a giant mirror reflecting the entire sky. The bright yellow sun reflects on the lake surface. The sunlight playfully and happily dances on the lake surface. The whole lake surface seems to be gilded. In the middle of the lake, on the green grass carpet, the Turtle Tower stands out majestically and anciently. The Turtle Tower is located on an empty space in the middle of the lake. The tower has three floors, small and mossy, lying in the middle of the vast waves. The roof of the tower is curved, like a bird flying in the blue sky. Many times people see the turtles of Hoan Kiem Lake resting there. On the way to Ngoc Son Temple, we immediately recognize the Pen Tower and the Inkstone Platform. The Pen Tower stands tall on a large mound of earth. On the tower are three large red Chinese characters: "Ta Thanh Thien" meaning "Writing on the blue sky" with the image of an inkstone and a brush tip symbolizing the studious spirit of the land of a thousand years of civilization. Passing the Pen Tower and the Inkstone Platform, we enter the temple by The Huc Bridge. The bridge is quite wide enough for many people to walk at the same time. The bridge is made of concrete and painted bright red. The Huc Bridge is curved like a shrimp, leading visitors to the ancient and majestic Ngoc Son Temple. In front of the temple gate is an ancient banyan tree that is many years old, green and shady, spreading heat across the land. The temple was built on Ngoc Island. The small island is covered with lush green trees. The entrance to the temple is built of very sturdy stone, painted gray. In front of the temple is Tran Ba communal house - a wave barrier. Ngoc Son Temple is the place to worship the Turtle and Saint Tran (King Tran Hung Dao), who defeated the Yuan-Mongol army three times, bringing glorious victory to the nation. Every day, there are long lines of people lining up to enter the temple to burn incense. I love Hoan Kiem Lake very much. Hoan Kiem Lake is not only a national scenic spot but also an important historical relic, the pride of the people of Hanoi in particular and of the whole nation in general. We must preserve and protect the cultural heritage of the capital. Perhaps whether it is the past, present or future, Hoan Kiem Lake will always be a famous place, remaining in the hearts of every Vietnamese person.
