In a world which seems so boring and so constricted these days, there was a girl with fiction flowing through her veins. Her name is Emily, an enchanting girl with a very developed imagination and fan of the fictional world as vast as the sea and the galaxy.

As a child Emily established herself comfortable in the world of literature where everything – from words to characters – was a story of gallantry and exploration. She loved reading books that contained magic, enchantment, heroes, and heroines who go against the odds of the result that life has in stored for them. These stories were her escape, the opportunity to hope and think of things which she could not in real life.

However, it’s quite clear that for Emily, the fictional world held something much deeper – it was a call to the ocean of creativity in hers. During her days in seclusion she wrote her own fairy tales in the corners of her room a world where dragons flew over red skies and where time played a tune to the fables that were exactly forgotten.

She was equally passionate when it came to anything else, books included. Emily devoted herself to movies which transported her to the distant galaxies where great powers fought not just millions, but billions of years.

However, passion is a word that would describe how Emily felt about these fictional worlds because her desire went beyond admiration. It evolved to become a very deep-seated desire—a dream to cross the boundary of her existence and become part of the world that she had adored. Sometimes she could picture herself roaming the forests of Middle-Earth playing with the wise and mysterious inhabitants of the world, or studying in Hogwarts, or even traveling the space with the brave travelers from distant planets.

Emily was slowly erasing the line between real life and books, and at that moment, it became a possibility. She was seeing realistic portrayals of herself through these imagined worlds, her potential, her weaknesses.

 To resolve this, Emily created an aim to bridge the two worlds together She channeled her passion into creative work. She drew imaginary scenery, created scenarios for the stories she wanted to experience and even ventured into the creation of digital art for her friends that had become her closest companions.

 Still, maybe the most important journey was the one of self discovery for Emily. Finally, with the help of fiction, she gets the strength to overcome difficulties, learn to accept another’s point of view, and continue dreaming even when everything crumbles down. Every story she accepted was a positive step in her own developing narrative; proving the potential for change that lies in narrative.

 When Emily starts her own story, she realizes that her passion for fictional reality is not just an interest, but it is the beacon that guides us through life. Unknown continent was the name given with every page turned, every scene imagined and every dream of life’s vast tapestried known to her, she was weaving her own story – a story of passion, creativity and the horizons yet uncharted.

Finally, Emily’s departure to the sphere of fiction is not a metaphorical escape from reality, it is about acceptance of eternal potentiality existing in one’s soul. It was about accepting the reality that magic which she was searching for was not in other countries or in space that one can travel, but in the ideas in her mind that directs her to the place where the imaginary world and the real world join together.

Thus, as Emily keeps searching for happiness in the land of Fairy Godmothers and Enchantments and further, she accepts that love for the fiction is a life-long journey which erases the line between fantasy and reality and paints it in the colors of the unending story.
