Review: I am clearly in minority here, but I did not like this book. Book is very well organized, but light on information you can't easily get from the internet. Also, basics and theory of perfumes is not that well explained compare to say "Introduction to Artisan Perfumery" by Angie Andriot, Alyssa Middleton. I think I would perceive this book more positively, if I have not started from "perfumers" section. It listed perfume houses and perfumes they put on the market without actually mentioning THE perfumers who created them... many of which were freelance. Recipes were a joke. For example, to get a rose perfume mix a few drops of rose with carrier. For rose / wood perfume to the same, but add sandalwood. Very, very basic. Tempted to return the book. I certainly will not use it again.

Review: Nice introduction to home perfume making. For those of you complaining that this is not a natural perfume book, the book clearly says that it is not; however, the methods and formulas are the same. The suggestions are intriguing but I've found that the author's site and company are no longer around but there are others out there.

Review: I purchased this book to give me some ideas for some fragrances for my online shop[...]. I haven't as of yet really sat down and read it, but when I fanned through it, it was just what I was expecting to help me with some ideas. I'm sure it will aid in some wonderful fragrances. Stop by some time and see what I have created. Then add me to your favorites and stop by often as I'm always adding new products. Thanks

Review: Not a review of today's perfume world--rather older versions. Delightful quiz on identifying your "perfume type"--however, I tended to like themes from many of them! Also recipes on making your own scented perfumes, scented paper, scented ink.

Review: Got me started mixing more oils and people always ask me what is that you have on it smells good
then I tell them I made it and they don't believe it , then they ask me for my phone number and how they can buy it,
so I started carry what I made with me and sell it on the spot, so for that thank you Brother Paul.
