Review: I had a week to prepare for the ASTB-E. I poured myself into this book and I scored a extremely well on the OAR portion of the exam. It sort of prepares you for the practical portion that uses the throttle and joystick, but hey, how can you practice for that section using a book? Excellent book.

Title: Best AFOQT Prep, Especially For Pilot!

Review: Resources like Trivium and study.com are not as effective at all compared to this, and I had both before my first attempt and got Baron for my second attempt. Helped raise my pilot score on AFOQT from 48 to 82. Table reading here was perfect for practice, and if you can get the other sections too within the time limits you’ll definitely be set up for a high pilot score.

Review: I just took the AFOQT a week ago. I bought this book and Trivium's two books.

This book's pros and cons:
+ Most accurate overall practice test
+ Accurate table reading
- Less thorough "prep and overview" sections in the beginning of the book
- Too easy aviation section compared to the real test, would recommend studying PPL material

Regardless, I've heard this is the best book out there, and my own experience agrees.

Title: The best AFOQT study book

Review: Hands down, this book is the best study material for the AFOQT. Great subject overviews and refreshers, excellent examples and explanations on how to do math problems (my biggest struggle), and 2 FULL tests that are super accurate for what the real AFOQT looks and feels like. Also has Army SIFT study materials and tons of other info on the different branches. So much information in this book about planes, helicopters, military history, military culture, ranks, acronyms and vocabulary, etc. The ONLY book I actually loved and used the most to study for the AFOQT. Of the 3 books I bought to study, this is the best. I would recommend other books just to supplement with and use for practice examples but focus on this one the most. It will get you ready for your test. Good luck to anyone taking SIFT or the AFOQT!
