Title: Sorry but the h is the worst

Review: I love & adore this series.I've already preordered the next one, this one was just not nearly as good as it could have been. Just this one storyline, is a big loss for me. All because of the h.

I loved Gumby/Decker, though at the end, he forgave too easy. Sidney, I have zero respect for. She had too many other ways to have continued her obsession. She felt zero remorse or guilt. She didn't have any consequences. AND then to afraid of Hannah? No. Just no. I get being cautious of an unknown dog, but not one that you are familiar with. (I was attacked & bitten as a child, the dog was unprovoked & stalked me, so I have some understanding.)

And for the h to then say these fighting dogs are unable to be "saved". Yes, some dogs can't be save after all they've gone through, but many fighting dogs have been & it's irresponsible to make such a blanket statement. It would have been nice to see more research done.

Review: Ahhh, this book!!! Sidney has a real heart for animals, dogs especially, due to her background. Gumby AKA Decker had a life-altering experience in Bahrain recently, which was the push he needed to decide NOW was the time to get a dog. The way they're brought together was scary but cool, and I absolutely LOVED his approach to letting her know he's interested. I also absolutely love how the whole team is written, the brotherhood & friendship & how the women they bring into the fold fit in.

The romantic relationship happens super fast, yet is paced well at the same time. Sidney makes some ... questionable decisions ... and the results are quite intense and terrifying! Which makes for GREAT reading material! Loved this whole story & as always w/ the tease of the next story (actually 2 future stories, if I'm reading the book titles correctly) I'm excited for MORE MORE MORE! : )

Review: I really enjoyed this book. The characters all feel like real people. They aren't perfect and make mistakes and have real emotions. I highly reccomend it. This is the story of Sidney Hale and Decker "Gumby" Kincaide.

Sidney rescues dogs it's a unstoppable compulsion for reasons she hasnt shared with anyone but Decker.

Sidney is rescuing an abused pitbull when Decker meets her. Her reason for rescuing dogs makes Decker fare for her even more. She could be the one but only if Gumby can help stop her from putting herself in danger. He may be too late Hannah the pit bull he helped her saves from her previous owner. The owner is enranged over the loss of his dog and is looking for revenge.

This is an amazing story and I really enjoyed it. You should really check it out. It's a fast 5 star read once I started it I couldn't stop until I finished it.

Review: I am loving this new series from Susan Stoker! The books just keep getting better and better. This is the next story in the SEAL of Protection Legacy Series and features Decker “Gumby” Kincade and Sidney Hale. The way that these two people met was so original and different. You can’t help but fall in love right away with Decker when you see how he is with Sidney and Hannah. Your heart will go out to Sidney when you learn about how she grew up and everything that she has been through and how she supports herself now. You can’t help but admire her. She is a strong woman and just perfect for Decker. The whole story will keep you entertained from beginning to the very end. I especially love the chapter where Sidney and Caite meet for the first time. It will make you chuckle. The whole book is a winner!

Title: Realistic story

Review: I'm a huge animal lover and anyone out there fighting dogs for money is just slime in my book, but especially pit bulls or bully breeds as they're known by ignorant people, and to use innocent puppies or kittens as a bait makes it just as horrendous. I actually think Sidney was brave in her endeavors to save these dogs from abusers, but very foolish with the way she went about doing it. I can truly understand her desire to what she thought she needed to atone for her brothers sick psychotic mind as well. The more I was reading the more I knew Susan was going to put Sidney in a dangerous position, but just glad she didn't get hurt worse than she did. I saw one post that apparently didn't like Sidney at all and thought Decker forgave her to easily. I don't see it that way because we are all human and make mistakes or do foolish stuff in our lives, that we need to be forgiven for. God is the only one that truly understands any of us and the crazy decisions that we make, but he forgives us anyway. As far as Hannah in the story and the real Hannah, I'm very glad that all turned out well for both of them and they got wonderful and loving homes. So KUDOS to you again Susan for a realistic, but fabulous story.

Review: Susan Stoker leads us into the illegal dog fighting business when Sidney Hale attempts to rescue a dog and gets targeted by the man who trains dogs, pit bulls, into fighting machines. She is saved by Navy SEAL Decker “Gumby” Kincaid, who finds himself falling for this woman who suspects had a reason for her compulsion to rescue dogs.

I am always in awe of Susan Stoker’s stories—yes, they revolve around characters we have come to love, but as always, the plots she gives us, the twists and turns of every story, is always unique, making it a no-brainer for readers—old and new, to keep following her wherever she leads us.

This story was no different, dealing with an illegal dog fighting ring. I really cannot understand why there are people who think it is fun and exhilarating to watch what is literally man’s best friend, fight to the death. Yes, pities are fierce, but they can be the gentlest of creatures when showered with love and affection.

In the Philippines, there are provinces that I know of that sell dog meat, and even though it is now banned, I know that the black market is still thriving, and I hate it. I am glad that Susan Stoker, in her own way, has shed a light on such practices, and it is my hope that you, dear reader, can do what you can in your own town or city, to help raise awareness against these illegal activities.
