Title: Could Not Get Into It

Review: I like the author. I watch his stuff on YouTube often and am fascinated with what he has to say. The book---eh---not so much. He takes too long to get into whatever it is he is trying to say. I feel there are far too much unnecessary stories and useless information. Some people want to get right to the heart of the matter. Tell me about the findings, the research, the science, the prayer, the prophecy. I never reached these things. Sorry, but this book is a slow, boring, filled with unnecessary and irrelevant information.

Title: Science of Prayer

Review: I gave this book 5 stars because of the information related to prayer technique. He related information that I had not seen anywhere else. I was not particularly interested in the history of prophecy so I understand why other readers may have been bored with specific sections of the book. From my perspective, the entire book was well-written and a valuable addition to one's Mindfulness library. This was my first read on this author. I will look for more inspiration from him in his other projects. Well-done Mr Braden!

Title: Secrets of prayer

Review: Need more insight on praying and what praying really is. Ever wonder about quantum physics applies in prayer and miracles. Get your answers in this book. Gregg tells stories about how once in Egypt they got from one point in their travels in 4 hours when it should of taken 7+ hours. Or how a bladder tumor disappears as prayer was being administered. Do you wonder why your prayers don't work, then read this book on insight from cultures even before the time of Jesus on how to be more effective in prayer. Do you wonder how Jesus healed people? He knew these principles. This book will help you be more aware of how we affect our world in everything you do.

Title: Weak to moderate connection to quantum physics

Review: I did like his review of literature and he did mention lines of connection or parallelism between them and quantum physics. But these lines of connection /parallels were of slight to moderate at best. I would have liked if more information had been given as to how the messages were encoded in the Isaiah scroll and what means were used to decode them, (i.e. did they use gematria, typology etc...). For Example 2 Peter 3:8 states that mans time is "1000 years = 1day" in Gods time , has a stronger relation to the idea of time dilation that one finds in the theory of relativity and not quantum physics.

Title: OMG, this is a must read!

Review: This explains so much for me, as I'm the one who takes the point of view in those friendly debates that Aliens did NOT help us build the temples and pyramids around the world! I have been saying that we humans have lost some serious know-how which allowed us to do/build/create the seemingly impossible. Gregg Braden explains how our lost power has been literally buried deep for centuries and now it has come to light! For anyone who has ever questioned how the human race could have built the architectural wonders of the past, herein lies the explanation. And, seriously, answering that question is only the beginning of where this understanding will take you. This is really a book about who we are and how it is that we have strayed from our divine nature, our birthright.

Title: Thought Provoking

Review: Greg Braden is a former earth science expert as well as a computer systems designer turned tour guide of sacred and religious sites all over the world. He has written a number of books on similar subjects.
The Isaiah effect examines many tenants and religious beliefs throughout man kind's history. Looking at who wrote the Bible, why books were left out and what it meant to the overall understanding of the Bible that the books were not included in the final project. He looks at the Bible with all the books and also looks at Native American, Mayan and Aztec beliefs among many others (to be listed later). How are they similar? The writer will show you.
Greg Braden believes we are missing something today. He explains how mass prayer has been proven to work. He discusses quantum physics theories that make many of the ancient prophecies seem plausible. The book spends a good bit of time discussing "The Bible Code" and the possibilities that it teaches us. The writer also has chapters discussing healing through prayer among many other faith based actions.
This book tries to make you think. Common prophecies, common threads in religion, did we all come from one belief? The book also presents a new way to look at time, time travel, dimensions, religions and quantum physics, prayer and prophecy, alternate realities, multiple paralleled universes. Can we bounce back and forth between them? Maybe even without knowing? Are we actually just now starting to learn or relearn what the ancient people knew? If so, why? How do the prophecies from Peru, Tibet, Egypt, Jerusalem and the American Southwest coincide?
Many questions are explored in the book. Some answers are given which in turn just raise a few more questions. This is a book that makes you think about many things including how we, as a race, relate to the seen and unseen worlds. If you are in a contemplating mood this is the book for you. If you are interested in the history and contents of religions this has some interest. If you feel something is missing in today's religions, read this book. It will make you think.

Title: The Essenes had it!

Review: Gregg Braden has done vast research on the Essenes, a community committed to living according to spiritual laws in the time of Christ. He does a great job in carefully deciphering the power of prayer in their times and showing its unchanging nature with the ability to manifest even today. He writes of the importance of emotion and feeling the prayer; bringing it from the head into a matter of the heart. He talks of the possibility of living life in a prayer, which in fact is living a life in the space of continuous intentionality and co-creation with God. I found it to be an amazing book bringing home to me the importance of mindful living, of being present, aware. Of living in faith. I believe if one has truly embraced, incorporated - taken out of the intellectual mind - and encodified, better said, embodied its teachings, then one is living a transformed, powerful, God present life. I loved the book.
