Review: Well, now, this is a fun one. I rated this thriller, four stars!

Jupiter, an investigative reporter living in Minnesota, has just finished a gut wrenching story where she actually got emotionally involved with the person who she exposed. It was not easy for her and her boss thought she needed a little break. Her boss decided to assign her kind of a fluff piece, a story on a very prominent family in her hometown of Savannah. Off she goes to Savannah to confront her very complicated childhood. Not exactly a relaxing fluff piece.

Jupiters childhood is so jacked up! Her mother was a famous actress and was very brutally, murdered and found the next morning by Jupiter and her father. Her father, who was completely grief stricken, sent her to live with her aunt in Minnesota, which, Jupiter took as a major rejection.

I should also add that Jupiter never really felt convinced that the person who was prosecuted for her mother’s murder was actually guilty. It just didn’t feel right. She had always harbored suspicions that it was done by somebody else, she even doubted her own father.

Jupiter decides that while she is in Savannah, she is going to investigate her mother’s murder, in addition to doing the fluff piece on the very wealthy family. And wow! Things get even more complicated than they ever had been. The things she discovers...

WHAT I LOVED
There was a lot to love about this book. I loved Jupiter as a character. I love the Savannah setting. I really love her, super complicated relationship was with her mother and her father both. Her mom was a phenomenonal character she definitely put the “fun” in dysfunctional! The plot was very twisty. I suspected almost everyone at one point or another.

WHAT I DIDN’T LOVE
They’re actually may have been a couple too many twists in this story. I do like a good twisty thriller but, this one was maybe a little too meandering here and there. Maybe one too many red herrings?

OVERALL
I enjoyed reading this book. I think all of my Goodreads friends who love a good thriller would enjoy this book.

Review: Like most good crime novels, Found Object was fast moving and full of twists and turns and unexpected uncoverings. It kept the suspense at a high level throughout. But on top of the investigative story was a variety of layered stories of growing up, healing, family bonds, moving forward, going home--all entertwined into the unfolding of the mystery. Found Object was a surprising mix of personal development in the midst of murder, damaged souls and human frailty that kept me guessing from the first pages.

Review: This books brings people together who shared parts in a 20-year old murder; the paths of those individuals took many turns over the years, as all of ours do... but the haunting death of a woman linked them together then and now. I have read a number of Anne Fraiser's books and they always weave cities, locations and characters together in a way that I cannot put the book down once I start reading! Found Object had me wondering and guessing once again; and once again Anne Fraiser found a way to make me very surprised at the end!

Review: I'm a huge fan of this Author. This story got its claws into me early on and refused to let go until I'd finished it.

Initially, I was a bit frustrated with the ending but it's actually, in a way, more realistic than the assumption you're first locked into.

The plot itself is stuffed full of secrets, crazy people & unbelievable levels of deceit but if you can just let go of reality & enjoy this fiction thriller for what it is, it's a fantastic way to spend a day reading!

I'm very much looking forward to more books with these characters!

Review: If you are an avid reader of this author’s work( like I am) you won’t be disappointed! If you haven’t read her works yet- read this, and you are guaranteed to become a fan also! This book is FULL of turns and twists, interesting character’s with just the right amount of background woven in to make them “ real people” and keep the plot going. There are just the right amount of details to sink you inside the story, without overwhelming you with frivolous details that drag on and on and distract from the actual substance of the storyline. This is one of the things I like so much about this authors writing style. She has a way of making the story and characters dimensional! It’s NOT hard and “ to the point/black and white boring” and also, not “ fluff”. This author has the magic to make the setting and emotions tangible to those reading…. And she’s done it again here!
The only “problem” with Anne Frasiers book( THIS one included) is that once you start reading you can’t put the book down…. and so you are done with the adventure TOOO quickly and have to wait ( patiently lol) for her to write/publish her next book!
This book is a winner- read it, you won’t be disappointed!
I was lucky enough to get an early copy of this book- but was not prompted or told to write a favorable review in exchange( and honestly, once the book came out- I got a digital copy from the Kindle store myself and read it again! Something I rarely do… re-read books, unless they are VERY good, and this is one of those)

Title: certainly twisty, but not my favorite

Review: As a solo story, it was a little difficult to feel a rapport with the main character, especially given the huge change of scenery that drops right at the beginning of the story. The need for the character to do “undercover” work seems completely unnecessary to the plot of THIS story, but I’d love to see a prequel and a sequel to this that flesh it out a bit more. Trying to avoid a spoiler, but I think the first twist ending that revealed the killer was sufficient and the second was unnecessary. If there are more Jupiter Bellarose books, I’ll read them, but in my opinion this character wasn’t as compelling as many of Anne Frasier’s other leading women.
