Review: Every teacher, Principal, & any staff affiliated with children’s education or children in general should read this book. In fact, it should be required reading for anyone in the educational system. Parents could benefit as well from reading this book, as I am a parent & just doing some research came upon the title & ordered the book. I am glad I did. Very informative, instructive & thoughtful in the presentation of this book…providing guidance for educators who have to instruct children who seem to be a challenge. Ultimately, all everyone wants is to be loved & shown love & kindness! The approach will determine the outcome!

Review: I work as a para professional with a teaching background and often I get to work with the most challenging students. This book will not only guide you in very practical ways of how to do this, but also gives you a good background on why certain behaviors appear. But most importantly, as the title already says, it will help the challenging students. Belonging is the most important factor in successful education (in my humble opinion), and this book will help you with just that. Having followed Pd with Julie Causton this summer and followed some workshops at a conference a few years ago, I feel every teacher and para should have (access to) this book. We owe it to our wonderful kiddos!

Review: All educators should read this book so they can create a major shift in all schools across this country by bringing love and compassion into the classroom for all students. Educators are always dealing with challenging students and situations. It's part of their everyday reality. Reading this book "From Behaving to Belonging" allows educators to reflect and rethink how to deal with challenging students. Julie and Kate have written a comprehensive book on inclusiveness that has/will drastically change the lives of both the educator and the student. Amazing!!
