Yesterday marked the last match of the Second group stage well known as the Super 8 Stage - the quarter-final stage.
In Group 1, India got the first spot in the semi-finals after defeating Australia by 24 runs while Afghanistan took the last spot earlier by winning against Bangladesh by 8 runs concluding the Super 8 Stage matches.
In Group 2, South Africa and England reached the semi-finals. South Africa defeated the United States by 10 wickets with 62 balls left and England defeated West Indies by 3 wickets with 5 balls left.
