Art is unquestionably one of the purest and highest elements in human happiness. It trains the mind through the eye andthe eye through the mind.As the sun colours flowers so does art colour life. How so? It helps express the application of human creative skills and imagination typically in a visual forms such as painting,music, literature and theatre. Art helps express important ideas or feelings.

Painting is very common since long time ago. With the use of elements like pencils,colours,textures and lines,the artists uniquely form a visual art that captures the expression of ideas and emotion on surface.

Theatre and film are other forms of visual arts. These forms tell a story through different characters,setting and themes. Although film is newer it has not replaced theatre as the two coexist in a relationship where each has potential to support each other. In both film and theatre people get to tell stories by possessing a new character with all the emotion of the chosen character.

Artists put together words with different tunes making music. Music is a type of audio art. Music helps express and bringout different emotions e.g. happiness,sadness and hype ,and all for different occasions. We have different music for every event.

Literature is a type of art that shares a story and develops a theme for the audience. Literary works like fiction,manuscripts,poetry and contribution to collective works are words put together by an artist to share a story,share ideas and express emotion. Literary texts are characterised by characters,setting,and plot.

In conclusion art adds color to life.
