As for the artwork, Bisco Hatori's art is a perfect match for this story, equally stylish, fun, and girly. In the little anecdotes that she includes about the process of making this manga, she says her initial idea of showing the hosts in various traditional outfits from around the world (e.g. Scottish kilts) started to become a lot of work as the volumes piled on. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Bisco-san, for grinding through it because it really adds to the story and to the decadence of host club, and it just looks beautiful.

If you've seen other box sets from Viz, this is their typical box format with a sturdy handle on the top and side-opening that closes with Velcro. It's great to have the books organized, but unfortunately is hard to ship safely. Mine ended up with a dinged corner. That said, the illustration included on the box is gorgeous. They picked the perfect one where everyone's outfit a different black & white pattern (like polka dots, stars, etc.). It looks so good with the pink.

Review: Okay, so I watched to anime of this series when I was in like 6th grade and I've been wanting this box set since then. So I bought this a day after I turned 14. I do not regret spending half of my birthday money on this at all! It's all fun and games like the show at first but then when you get to volume 13 it starts to get serious and it's so good. If you generally like romantic/comedy series that get serious towards the end then you'll love Ouran High School Host Club.
The box set arrived at my house on time and the box that had all the books was in perfect shape(I live in the USA so that might be why)and the note pad that comes with it is adorable.
Also it's 18 books for 80 dollars which means each book is around 4 dollars rather than paying 10 dollars for each book separately.
10/10 would recommend

Review: I can honestly say this is one of my best purchases ever! I absolutely loved this series and actually having it in my hands is amazing. If you want the whole series in outstanding condition and for a great price, (you're basically only paying for almost 8 out of 18 volumes. That's means you're getting 10 for free!) you're looking in the right place. Also if you've only watched the anime you are missing out!

Review: Arrived in such pristine condition and while I did get a bit worried with how I was going to get out a volume without ruining the spine I somehow managed to get it out somehow and still maintain its pristine condition. Definitely a MUST READ and WATCH! I've loved Ouran since I first saw it around five years ago or so and still watch it to this day!

Review: The shipping was extremely fast (only took like 3 days), when i first opened it the box had amazing cover. This manga will make you cry and laugh all at once. It may say 18 volumes but I was able to finish it very fast. This story is amazing and anybody that is hoping for a second season of the anime, i'm sorry but that won't happen ever. Eclair is not in the manga, the editors of the anime made her because they didn't want a second season. She's a combination of 2 characters (they're in the manga) that test Haruhi and Tamaki's love. Also, the notepad that comes with the box is really cute and has a good amount of pages. This is a HUGE deal because when I was buying the individual books at Barnes and Noble even with a discount this is still way cheaper. Manga usually cost about 10$ per book but this deal makes it only 5$ per book. If you new to reading manga, or just want a season 2 of OHSHC please buy this box. It will exceed your hopes and dreams.

Review: I started this series many years ago but ended up never finishing it. After finding this boxset online I couldn't resist the urge to finish this wonderful story. It was well worth it. The boxset had a little damage to the corner, looks like it got squished, but otherwise was in great condition. This is a series I will now be able to read over and over again and having the box to hold all the books makes it really convenient to lend to a (very..) trusted friend!

Review: The books were all in good condition, no scratches, no problems with the printing, everything was just dandy, very happy about the condition it was in.

The story, my oh my I absolutely LOVED it. It's so good and funny and cute and ahhhhhh I love the characters so much. Absolutely loved reading it. I highly highly recommend
