.......Cross Riverians are feeling the optimum impact of Governor Bassey Otu's Administration - Cross River State commissioner for sports development tells Golfers.

The Commissioner for Sports development in Cross River State, Hon. Agnes Atsu has said the optimum impact of the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Sen.Prince Bassey Edet Otu's administration is felt all over the state, including those in the rural areas.

The SA to the Governor on sports development'Hon. Ekanem Ekpenyong and the permanent secretary of the ministry' Mr.Samuel Egbala accompanied the Honourable commissioner earlier today to represent the Governor His Excellency Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu at the Calabar Golf Club, where golfers gathered to celebrate the Governor on his one year in office.

The commissioner extolled the golfers for the love demonstrated towards the Governor by celebrating him, stated that the Governor assumed the leadership of the state with a clear vision to exceptionally develop the State and restore it's lost glory. Further expressed Governor Bassey Otu's interest to develop golf sport in the State and assured them of his support to them.

According to the vice president of the Golfers club in Cross River State, Captain Agba Jerome Rtd, Governor Bassey Otu is the number one golf player in Cross River and has his golf hole at the Golf court, he further disclosed the innumerable support of the Governor to the golf club which is the more reason he is being celebrated with passion.

Dignitaries at the event were, the Hon commissioner for sports development, Hon. Agnes Atsu, the SA to the Governor on sports development Hon. Ekanem Ekpenyong, the permanent secretary of Ministry of Sports development' Mr.Samuel Egbala, the director for sports, Staff of the ministry of sports development and members of the Cross River State golfers club.

Spotlight of the event was th play of the golf by the Honourable Commissioner alongside other golfers, photography session and exchange of pleasantries.
