Vision and Mission Shared: Oil & Gas Women's Wing Meets with SA Ukpong Umo

The host communities of Nigeria involved in oil and gas production recently paid a courtesy visit to showcase their appreciation for the unwavering support and selfless service provided by Special Adviser (SA) Ukpong Umo. Led by Dorothy Effiong JP, the women's wing of these communities paid a courtesy visit to SA Ukpong Umo to express their gratitude. During the meeting, the women's wing highlighted Ukpong Umo's consistent efforts in empowering their communities, facilitating the provision of essential social amenities, and extending financial assistance when needed.
Dorothy Effiong JP emphasized that the primary objective of their visit was to introduce their organization to the SA, as well as to share their vision and mission for the betterment of their communities. The SA, representing the oil and gas sector to His Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, the Executive Governor of Cross River State, expressed his appreciation for the recognition bestowed upon him by the women's wing. He reassured them of his continued support for their initiatives and activities aimed at uplifting the oil and gas host communities.
The visit not only served as a platform to acknowledge SA Ukpong Umo's contributions but also fostered stronger ties between the government and the oil and gas host communities. It underscored the importance of collaboration and mutual support in achieving sustainable development and empowerment in resource-rich regions. As the SA reiterated his commitment to the welfare and progress of these communities, the women's wing departed with renewed optimism and a sense of partnership in their shared endeavors.
