Review: I've been using this book at work to prepare students to take the CompTIA A+ for years starting with the 4th edition. I am not happy with this edition because of the many editing errors it has, as well as factual errors. In fact out of the times I have used this book, this edition seems to have the most errors. Also, unlike the previous versions, it no longer comes with a PDF of the book.

Review: This book is unwieldy. It is heavy and inconvenient for this day and age. For the price of this book it should come with an ebook or pdf but they want you to pay twice for it. It's ridiculous. I'll do my best to never buy from this publisher again.

Review: He may know what buzzwords the industry uses for everything, but that's about it. The way he talks in the book makes me want to hurt him every time I have to read it for school. He doesn't even understand the purpose of a modulator/demodulator but presumes to lecture people on their operation.He also wastes tons of space including step by step instructions in simple things like setting the power management settings on windows, which makes me feel like this thing can't decide if it's "how to use computers" for old people, or "here's all the industry lingo you need to learn to look smart at the tech support desk of some place."Totalsem is fixing to get a totalbrick through its window.
