( NaijaBlaseTv) The recent Christian Association of Nigeria Breakfast meeting held at the Calabar South council headquarters, Anantigha, in preparation of the forthcoming Solemn Assembly in Calabar South LGA mark a significant moment of spiritual reflection and communal solidarity, drawing inspiration from biblical teachings and the collective resolve for deliverance and restoration.

Spearheaded by the CAN Coordinator Calabar South chapter Elder (Mrs) Deborah Edem, the assembly gathered community leaders, government officials, religious figures, and the populace to seek divine intervention for the betterment of the region. Drawing from scriptures including 1 Samuel 12:1-5, Acts 20:32-35, Luke 22:3-4, and John 13:2, 26-27, Apostle Elias who gave exhortation,

emphasized the importance of maintaining purity and integrity, urging attendees to keep their garments clean and free from covetousness as a prerequisite for God's intervention. The event witnessed the presence of notable figures, including Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State, the Head of Local Government (HOLGA), alongside Special Adviser on Religious Matters, Apostle Frank Umo JP, Apostle Emmanuel Elias,

Mr Charles Kutman Commissioner-1 House of Assembly Commission. Also in attendance were Elder (Mrs) Deborah Edem, CAN Coordinator for Calabar South LGA and her executive members, along with a diverse array of ministers of God, civil servants, business leaders, members of the political class and the local community.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar commended the initiative, expressing his support for the solemn assembly as a positive step towards the spiritual rejuvenation and upliftment of Calabar South as always conducted at the State level on quarter basis by Her Excellency the First Lady and wife of the Governor. He acknowledged the significance of the event in aligning with God's plan for the region and encouraged widespread participation,

emphasizing its potential to endure as a lasting legacy for generations to come. He added that the administration of Governor Otu his boss, centers on God hence, must be replicated by everyone in the state. He pledged his commitment to providing assistance and resources to ensure the success of the assembly, underscoring the importance of unity and collective action in achieving transformative change.

The solemn assembly stands as a beacon of hope and unity, symbolizing the collective determination of the people of Calabar South to seek divine intervention for the restoration of their community. As participants join in prayer, reflection, and collective action, they embody the spirit of resilience and faith,

laying the foundation for a brighter future guided by divine grace and steadfast commitment to righteousness as exemplified by Her Excellency Rev Mrs Eyoanwan Otu the First Lady and her beloved husband, His Excellency Sen Prince Bassey Otu the Executive Governor of Cross River State.
