Review: Easy to understand. Easy to read. An operational field guide written in such a format that even those with a non-military background can put these procedures into practice. It also contains some great ideas for preparing for those events that we hope don’t happen.

Review: From the preview of the book on Amazon, I had the impression that this was going to be a moderate to advanced book on fieldcraft. In fact t was extremely basic, and frankly all of this can be found easily online. If you were a Scout or military you know this. Most of the book is taken up with poor quality black and white illustrations of un-named men with guns standing around. The authors feel that they also need to put in large illustrations of gear like disposable lighters, a tent and backpack, and lots of random AR's -- because we clearly don't know what any of these items look like. The book's only 117 pages which wouldn't be bad except that easily 1/3 to 1/2 of the space is taken up with these non-essential pictures. Really, save your money.

Review: Very informative. Some Things you may have to rationalize as what is the higher priority (food, shelter...) based on where you live. But the nuts and bolts of this manual provide excellent insight on the subject of security and protecting what you have.
