Nigeria - VFD Group, a prominent financial services company, has proudly announced its listing on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX).

The ceremonial event took place at the Nigerian Exchange Group House in Lagos on Friday, October 6, 2023.

Among those in attendance were esteemed figures such as NGX Group Chairman Dr. Alhaji Umaru Kwairanga, MD Poopola, VFD Chair Tunde Busari (SAN), MD/CEO Nonso Okpala, along with their executive directors and management teams.

The NGX warmly welcomed the VFD Group, recognizing its significant contributions across various sectors, including FinTech and Hospitality.

Founded in 2009 with an initial capital of N2.5 million, VFD Group has showcased a remarkable growth trajectory. In just 14 years, under the dedicated efforts of 35 young professionals, the company's assets have skyrocketed to exceed N200 billion.

The organization's vision remains clear — to become the premier investment company in Africa.

The NGX Chairman expressed his enthusiasm about the listing and extended an invitation for individuals to join and be part of VFD Group's continued success.

Valentine Ozigbo, a respected business leader who is the immediate past President and Group Managing Director of Transcorp Plc, released a statement on Friday lauding the achievements of VFD Group and its leadership.
