There once was a rich man named Fred,
Whose wealth was so vast, it spread.
He had mansions and yachts galore,
But he was still a terrible bore.
One day, Fred was walking down the street,
When he saw a homeless man sleeping at his feet.
Fred laughed and said, "Look at you, so poor,
While I have more money than I can endure."
The homeless man looked up and said,
"I may be poor, but I'm not dead.
I may not have mansions and yachts,
But I have friends and I'm not a sot."
Fred was so angry, he turned red, He stormed off, his pride was shred.
He realized that the homeless man was right,
Money can't buy happiness or delight.
So next time you see a rich man, don't be impressed,
They may have money,
but they're not always blessed. Remember that happiness comes from within,
And money can't buy that,
no matter how much you spend.
