Chapter 2 - |episode 01|
Early in the morning the academy became excited because of the arrival of quite foreign guests. The girls, still in their nightgowns, stood in a row on the edge of the third floor divider, looking into the crowded ground floor lobby. They whispered, commenting on the guests. Sedna, who was still messy in her nightgown, came down the stairs while yawning. Want to know what happened. On the second floor, he met Frìth Beathan.
"Good morning Mr. Frìth," Sedna murmured in greeting.
“Good morning, an t-seann duine agam.” Frìth teased.
Sedna glanced sharply. Didn't like having morning ruined by insolence. "If you want to start a war, it's best in front of your lover, sir. "Selu will enjoy it with a tray of warm cakes," Sedna quipped.
Frìth responded to Sedna's teasing with a gentle stroke on the woman's head and continued his journey.
“You gille-cluiche. I hope Miss Selu comes back from her holiday soon and sees how nosy Frìth Beathan is.” She rubbed her head roughly, hoping that Frith's touch would disappear.
At the top of the second floor stairs, Sedna stopped. She saw neat guests in quite familiar uniforms but couldn't find where he had seen those clothes.
“Oh, Sedna.” Being called so loudly by Lady Shevitsa that it made her figure the center of attention, the woman lowered her head and hid her face behind her long, tousled hair. She grumbled in annoyance, questioning the presence of guests who were too early to come to visit. “Sedna, come down. Help me for a moment.”
"I'm not ready yet, Lady," she answered nervously.
“You look cute in your nightdress, my girl. Come down. I want you to enter the identities of the students from the Ghrian academy and check which rooms are still available for them to stay in. I am not familiar with academy administration.”
Sedna sighed loudly. Having no choice but to go down to the lobby with the slowest movements and bend one leg to salute the guests who came even though he was attacked by extreme embarrassment.
“I'm sorry for being slow, kids. You will be handled by the most skilled luchd-obrach at the Crie academy. My girl, thank you for your help.” Lady Shevitsa immediately made room as soon as Sedna stood behind the neach-fàilteachaidh table. She was still looking down as she opened the large book containing guest arrivals and raised her hand to take the paper behind her back. The sheets of paper arranged in a wooden box lifted and lay in front of Sedna.
“Please line up and say your name and where you are from.” Sedna's voice lowered at the end of the sentence, making her guests move closer to the table and making her even more nervous.
“Kids stop scaring her. Take one step back and move forward when it's your turn.” It was Maeve's voice. She opened the crowd and stood in front of Sedna. They were separated by a long table filled with papers. "You seem very nervous." Maeve waved her hand briefly and the papers piled neatly at the end of the table. "You haven't showered yet, have you?"
“Do I look terrible?”
"A little. It doesn't matter. You look cute.”
“Who are these people, Miss?”
“They are students from Ghrian academy. They will study here for just a few weeks.”
"Does Madam Beltxarga agree to it?"
Maeve nodded. “She gave me carte blanche to fool around at the academy as long as it doesn't interfere with her date with Mr. Lu. Ah, they are from the senior class and around your age I think.”
Sedna didn't really care about Maeve's additional information. Right now she just wanted this job to be finished quickly and to immediately go to her room. It's really bad now. Ah, what an annoying morning.
“Ceann buidhne, you first then come with me.” That's what Maeve ordered to one of them.
Someone in the back row broke through the crowd and stood towering next to Maeve. Sedna put the tip of the goose feather into the ink and was ready to write.
“Eamon Casper, Head of Ghrian Academy Group.”
Sedna suddenly stopped and raised her head.
“Eamon Casper?” she repeated.
“Yes, Eamon Casper.” Eamon Casper smiled at Sedna who seemed to convince him that he was the owner of the name.
“Is something wrong, my girl?” Maeve asked.
“Nothing, Miss. Next." Sedna looked down again. With the tail of his eye he followed Maeve's movements as she took Eamon Casper to the second floor.
