Everest Base Camp Trek for Close-up View of the World's Highest Mountain

A trip to Everest Base Camp and a close-up view of the world's tallest mountain must be on the bucket list of every mountain and adventure enthusiast. In this alpine destination, more than 40000 adventure trekkers hike each year. Along with trekkers, a small number of climbers scale this peak each year, and upscale tourists visit Kala Patthar and the Everest Base Camp.

In the Everest Region, there are numerous trekking routes that give stunning views of both natural and cultural landmarks while some do not lead to the Everest Base Camp. You can go from Kathmandu to the base of the highest peak in the world with the Everest Base Camp Trek, Everest Three High Passes Trek, Cho La Pass Trek, and Helicopter Return Everest Base Camp Trek.

The Gokyo Lakes Trek, Renjo La Pass Trek, and Everest View Trek don't travel to the Everest Base Camp, but they do offer stunning mountain vistas and other natural and cultural attractions. These treks are in addition to those already mentioned. In addition to the hiking excursions, you may also travel to Kala Patthar, the base camp for Mount Everest, and enjoy a luxurious view of the mountain from a distance. For those who can't hike in the high altitudes and chilly weather or don't have the time for a lengthy mountain climb but still want to visit Mount Everest and its surrounding high peaks, the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is the best option.

Each trek to the Everest Himalayas starts in Lukla after a gorgeous and exciting flight to Lukla, and it ends with another flight out of Lukla after the adventure is complete. There are several overland routes, including as those that begin in Jiri after taking a bus from Kathmandu or in Salleri after taking a vehicle. In comparison to aviation options, overland treks in the Everest region are longer.

While spring starts in March and lasts until May, fall season starts in September and lasts until November. The greatest times to trek in the Everest Himalayas are during these two seasons. The greatest time of year to view the Crystal Mountains is from dawn to dusk, but December will be a very cold month overall.
