Sad poem

In the shadows of my heart, a melancholy sigh,

A poem of sadness, I shall now imply.

A tale of sorrow, woven with woe,

Where tears cascade, unstoppable flow.

Like a fading star, my spirit grows weak,

Embracing sadness, with every breath I speak.

The weight on my shoulders, heavy with despair,

As I wander through life, consumed by care.

A broken smile, no solace can it trace,

Echoing laughter, now a distant embrace.

The world around me, cloaked in shades of gray,

A constant reminder of the joys that stray.

With each passing day, hope further evades,

Lost in the labyrinth, where sadness pervades.

Seeking solace in the depths of my soul,

Drowning in sadness, never to be whole.

Oh, for a glimpse of sunshine's embrace,

To brush away tears, and find a tranquil space.

But until that day, I'll befriend the sorrow,

And bear the weight, that life may borrow.

For sadness, too, has its purpose, you see,

To remind us of our humanity, velvety.

To appreciate moments of joy that arise,

And find solace amidst life's tear-stained skies.
