MOTHERHOOD & SOCIETY

CHAPTER 1

It's very disappointing that the word motherhood has lost its meaning in our society. Motherhood is the state of being a mother; maternity The qualities or spirit of a mother It's not just about giving birth; the symbols include the ability to nurture an offspring, incalculate a positive lifestyle, and imbibe knowledge.

As a mother knows, she is versatile when it comes to life experience. There is always a tendency toward illiteracy towards education, but that doesn't mean that she is illiterate.

My heart bleeds when I see what society has turned motherhood into. I can vividly remember when we were little. Back then, just hearing that mummy is close to the house or on her way from the market turned everyone into an automatic good child. You dare not misbehave in her presence. She weighs more command than Dad; she is our second God, the one that punishes us without judgment. She was the lawyer, prosecutor, and defendant; we were just waiting for the trials to be over and to serve the punishment.

Society has turned motherhood into a shadow of itself; nowadays, there are murderers in the midst of mothers. However, we had forgotten our favorite song back then.

Who sat and watched my infant head

When sleeping on my cradle bed,

And tears of sweet affection shed?

My Mother

The poem that was turned into a song Back then, this was always the first song we sang for our mom, especially on Mother's Day. The best part of the poem is that it belongs to no denomination, religion, tribe, country, or nation. I wonder if today's kids can recite them.

We need the whipping;

We need the scolding;

We need the bashing;

We need our first bestie;

We need the eye 👀 contacts that speak;

Return, the threats;

Return our super and wonder woman;

Return our true love;

Return our mothers.
