Even while most people are aware that Everest is the highest mountain in the world, not everyone knows where it is. People climb this mountain, which is the tallest in the world, from both China and Nepal, however Nepal is where the summit is located.

Additionally, you can get here by taking the Cho La Pass path, a high pass trek, or a helicopter trip with return. On the helicopter tour that departs from Kathmandu, you can also fly over this well-known location.

The Khumbu Icefall and the Everest Base Camp are both located on the Khumbu Glacier. Once you arrive, a large stone indicating the base camp and ice below will be visible. Although you can see many virgin mountains from the base camp, including Nuptse, Lola, Khumbutse, Changatse, Lingtren, and Pumori, along with the peak of Everest, it's not the ideal spot to observe all the high mountains.

Gorak Shep, the best hill station in Everest, provides the closest view of the world's highest mountain and many others in 360°, but to get the best perspective of the entire Himalayas, you must climb Kala Patthar.

The closest vantage point is at Kala Patthar, but it is visible from many other hill towns as well. The Gokyo Valley's Gokyo Ri is the ideal location to view Mount Everest's larger shape. You can reach this high station through the Renjo La Pass and Gokyo Lakes treks. The peak of Renjo La and the fifth Gokyo Lake offer stunning views of the Everest region as well. You might choose the Everest View walk up to Tengboche Hill if you don't have enough time for a lengthy trek but still want to see Mount Everest while visiting Nepal. The views from Tengboche and Hotel Everest View are breathtaking.
