CRS COMMISSIONER FOR SPORTS HOSTS MTN CHAMPS SEASON 2 ORGANIZERS IN PREPARATIONS FOR GRAND FINAL

Hon. Agnes Atsu, the Commissioner for Sports Dev’t  in Cross River State, warmly welcomed the MTN Champs Season 2 organizers, alongside the team, Making of Champions, during a courtesy visit to kickstart preparations for the highly anticipated grand final. This collaborative effort between the Cross River Ministry of Sports Development and the organizers aims to reignite the spirit of athletics in the state, reminiscent of the illustrious Mobil All Nigeria Championship

In a remarkable display of support, Cross River State has graciously offered all necessary facilities free of charge, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to the success of the event scheduled from April 30th to May 3rd. Commissioner Atsu, renowned for her proactive approach and tireless dedication, lauded the organizers for selecting Cross River as the venue for the competition, promising an environment conducive to excellence for both the team and participating athletes.

The visit left the organizers filled with gratitude, as they were deeply impressed by the warm reception extended by Commissioner Atsu and the entire ministry. The collaborative efforts between the state government and the organizers set a promising tone for the upcoming grand final, promising a celebration of athleticism and camaraderie against the backdrop of Cross River's rich sporting heritage.

Cross River Athletes will be registering for the competition on Saturday at the U. J. Esuene Sports  Stadium Calabar.
