Human welfare is not a mandatory matter.

But to make one's life worthwhile, human welfare is needed.

Who can afford it.

Whoever has the ability, he does human welfare. He does it according to his own free will.

One cannot force another for this.

Human welfare by the author.

The main work of writers is to write.

Yes, writers also have to work more to make a living.

Count Leo Tolstoy_Rabindranath Tagore was a zamindari besides writing.

But writing was their main work.

Basically, writers do human welfare through writing.

Because, the income of the writers is not like that of the businessmen.

Businessmen produce goods by borrowing money deposited by the people in the bank. They sell it to the people and make a profit.

Businessmen do public welfare work with this profit money. For example :- Establish school_college_hospital.

Or writers don't have the same spending power as politicians.

People's tax money is used by politicians for public welfare.

But writers cannot employ public tax money for public welfare like politicians.

Ravi Tagore founded Visva_Bharati University at Santiniketan for human welfare. But writing was Ravi Tagore's main means of human welfare.

Even through writing, Ravi Tagore received the Nobel Prize in Literature (1913). Then he founded Visva_Bharati (1921).

If Ravi Tagore had not written, he would not have won the Nobel Prize.

And if he did not get the Nobel Prize, he could not have established Visva_Bharati. Even if he could, Visva_Bharati would not have received the status of the Central University of India (1951).

In this case too, Ravi Tagore's human welfare depends on his writing.

And Ravi Tagore is known around the world mainly as a writer, never as the founder of Visva_Bharati.

Similarly, Sir Francis Bacon, Bertrand Russell, George Barnard Shaw, Allama Iqbal etc. have done human welfare through writing.

Writer to politician.

Yes, there are many writers, who have done human welfare through politics after writing.

Pandit Nehru was more a writer than a politician in his early life.

During the British period, Pandit Nehru was imprisoned for many years due to his politics. It was in prison that he wrote his erudite writings.

But later, after becoming the Prime Minister of India, he could not write much.

Similarly, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad could not write well after becoming the Education Minister of India.

Similarly, Vladimir Lenin-Mao Ze Dong could not write much after took power.

In other words, they had to give up regular writing to do human welfare through politics or increasing the political power.

My human welfare.

I do human welfare through writing.

My writings on various subjects have the subject of human welfare.

Outside of writing, I don't do much directly for human welfare.

Because, despite passing Honors Masters for writing, I did not even fill any government job form.

I have not joined any political party for the sake of writing.

For the writing, I have delegated the management of my property to others.

“বাস্তবে লেখকগণ মানব কল্যাণের জন্য কী করলেন, সেটার চেয়ে_মানব কল্যাণের জন্য কী লিখলেন, সেটাই বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।”

মানব কল্যাণ বাধ্যতামূলক কোন‌ বিষয় না।

কিন্তু নিজের জীবনকে স্বার্থক করতে হলে মানব কল্যাণের প্রয়োজন আছে।

যার যেমন সামর্থ্য।

যার যেমন সামর্থ্য আছে, তিনি তেমনি মানব কল্যাণ করেন।এটা করেন তিনি নিজের স্বাধীন ইচ্ছা মতো।

এর জন্য একজনকে আরেকজন জোরাজুরি করতে পারেন না।

লেখক কর্তৃক মানব কল্যাণ।

লেখকদের প্রধান কাজই হচ্ছে লেখালেখি করা।

হ্যাঁ, জীবন ধারণের জন্য লেখকদেরকেও আরো কাজ করতে হয়।

কাউন্ট লিও টলস্টয়_রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর লেখালেখির পাশাপাশি জমিদারি করতেন।

কিন্তু লেখালেখিই ছিলো তিনিদের মূল কাজ।

মূলত এই লেখালেখির মাধ্যমেই লেখকগণ মানব কল্যাণ করেন।

কেননা, লেখকদের আয়রোজগার ব্যবসায়ীদের মতো না।

ব্যাংকে জনগণের জমানো টাকা লোন নিয়ে ব্যবসায়ীরা পণ্য উৎপাদন করেন।সেটাই আবার জনগণের কাছে বিক্রি করে লাভবান হন।

এই লাভের টাকা দিয়ে ব্যবসায়ীরা জনকল্যাণমূলক কাজ করেন।যেমন :- স্কুল_কলেজ_হসপিটাল প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন।

অথবা লেখকদের খরচের ক্ষমতা রাজনীতিকদের মতো না।

জনগণের ট্যাক্সের টাকা রাজনীতিকরা জনকল্যাণের জন্য নিয়োগ করেন।

কিন্তু লেখকগণ রাজনীতিকদের মতো জনগণের ট্যাক্সের টাকা জনকল্যাণে নিয়োগ করতে পারেন না।

রবি ঠাকুর মানব কল্যাণের জন্য শান্তিনিকেতনে বিশ্বভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছিলেন। কিন্তু লেখালেখিই ছিলো রবি ঠাকুরের মানব কল্যাণের প্রধান মাধ্যম‌।

এমনকি লেখালেখির মাধ্যমে রবি ঠাকুর সাহিত্যে নোবেল প্রাইজ পেয়েছেন(১৯১৩)।এরপর তিনি বিশ্বভারতী প্রতিষ্ঠা(১৯২১) করেছেন।

যদি রবি ঠাকুর লেখালেখি না করতেন_তাহলে নোবেল প্রাইজ পেতেন না।

আর নোবেল প্রাইজ না পেলে বিশ্বভারতী প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে পারতেন না।করতে পারলেও বিশ্বভারতী ভারতের কেন্দ্রীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মর্যাদা(১৯৫১) পেতো না।

এক্ষেত্রেও রবি ঠাকুরের মানব কল্যাণ নির্ভর করছে লেখালেখির উপরেই।

এবং বিশ্বজুড়ে রবি ঠাকুরের পরিচিতি মূলত লেখক হিসেবে, কখনই বিশ্বভারতীর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা হিসেবে না।

তেমনি স্যার ফ্রান্সিস বেকন, বার্ট্রান্ড রাসেল, জর্জ বানার্ড শ, আল্লামা ইকবাল প্রমূখ মানব কল্যাণ করেছেন লেখালেখির মাধ্যমেই।

লেখক থেকে রাজনীতিক।

হ্যাঁ, অনেক লেখক আছেন, যিনিরা লেখালেখির পর রাজনীতি করে মানব কল্যাণ করেছেন।

পন্ডিত নেহেরু প্রথম জীবনে যতটুকু রাজনীতিক ছিলেন_এরচেয়ে বেশি লেখক ছিলেন।

ব্রিটিশ আমলে পন্ডিত নেহেরু রাজনীতি করার কারণে কারাবন্দি ছিলেন অনেক বছর। কারাগারেই তিনি জ্ঞানসমৃদ্ধ লেখালেখি করেছিলেন।

কিন্তু পরবর্তীতে ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী হওয়ার পর তেমন লেখালেখি করতে পারেন নি।

তেমনি মাওলানা আবুল কালাম আজাদও ভারতের শিক্ষামন্ত্রী হওয়ার পর তেমন লিখতে পারেন নি।

তেমনি ভ্লাদিমির লেনিন_মাও সে তুং রাষ্ট্র ক্ষমতা গ্ৰহণের পর তেমন লিখতে পারেননি।

অর্থাৎ রাজনীতির মাধ্যমে মানব কল্যাণ করার জন্য তিনিদেরকে নিয়মিত লেখালেখি ছেড়ে দিতে হয়েছিলো।

আমার মানব কল্যাণ।

আমি লেখালেখির মাধ্যমেই মানব কল্যাণ করি।

বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে আমার লেখায় মানব কল্যাণের বিষয় আছে।

লেখালেখির বাইরে আমি মানব কল্যাণের জন্য সরাসরি তেমন কিছু করতে পারিনা।

কেননা, লেখালেখির জন্যই আমি অনার্স মাস্টার্স পাশ করা সত্ত্বেও, সরকারি কোন চাকরির ফরম ফিলাপ পর্যন্ত করিনি।

লেখালেখির জন্য আমি কোন রাজনৈতিক দলের সদস্য হইনি।

এই লেখালেখির জন্যই আমি আমার সম্পত্তির পরিচালনার দায়িত্ব অন্যদেরকে দিয়ে দিয়েছি।

এই লেখালেখির জন্যই আমি শিক্ষিত লোক হওয়া সত্ত্বেও, বড় পদের বেসরকারি চাকরি করি না।

আমার মানব কল্যাণের যত তৎপরতা_সকল কিছুই লেখালেখির মধ্যেই।

আমার লেখা থেকে মানব কল্যাণ।

আমার প্রতিটা লেখা এমনভাবে আমি লিখি, যাতে সরকারি দল অথবা বিরোধী দল_এমনকি পুলিশ প্রশাসনের লোকজনও অনুপ্রেরণা_ক্লু প্রভৃতি পেতে পারেন।

দায়ভার।

আমি লিখি মানব কল্যাণের জন্য। কিন্তু আমার লেখা থেকে উপাদান_অনুপ্রেরণা_ক্লু নিয়ে কেউ যদি সেটার অপব্যবহার করেন, তাহলে সেটার দায়ভার সম্পূর্ণভাবে সংশ্লিষ্ট অপব্যবহারকারীর।

বিনিময়।
