Team Cross River State preparing for the National Youth Games coming up in Delta on the 7th day of September 2023 resumed camping on the 28th day of August 2023 at the U. J. Esuene Sports Stadium.

For the past 10 years, athletes of the state for National games do not have the opportunity to be invited to camp for effective preparation which always hindered the success of the team at any National sporting event.

With the newly sworn in Commissioner of Sports Development Hon. Agnes Atsu on her resumption speech assured that His Excellency Sen. Bassey Otu is committed in revamping sports in the state.

By the resumption of camp for the athletes preparing for the coming National youth Games in Delta State is a very welcome development that will foster unity among the athletes, enhance effective training and hopefully better performance at the games.

With the able capacity Director of Sports Coach Moses Ita who is very knowledgeable in organizing, is working so hard with the commissioner to make sure the camping and participation at the National Youth Games become successful.
