Review: This is the first and last book that I will ever read by Natasha Preston. There is very little charaรงter development, the dialogue is cheesy and it's impossible to believe this could really happen. My son is a detective and real detectives don't act anything like the one in this book. Authors need to do some research before writing such trash! And finally, on page 66, Mackenzie says she was sitting behind the victims in the vehicle when the accident occured. On page 128, she says she was sitting in front of them! Seriously!!!! Don't waste your money on any books by this amateur author. Her books should be free!

Review: Okay, so Iโ€™ve read awake and the cellar by this author and both were fantastic! So when I saw this book I had to get it ASAP. However I didnโ€™t read reviews before buying. Big mistake.First off, I was about 12-14% through the book and NOTHING had happened! The rest of the book was a whine fest by the main character with no clues given as to who did it. There was absolutely no plot at all. By the way, the detective in this book was portrayed horribly and I wish he wasnโ€™t portrayed as an ass. He could have been a great character addition to this book.Anyways, fast forward to 4 hours of my life gone by choosing to read this book just to have a TERRIBLE ending!! She started to leave it off on a good note (the ending still wasnโ€™t logical or believable but whatever) and BOOM! Ruining it and left it on a cliff hanger type moment. SO dumb. I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve been this dissapointed in a book for a LONG time. I would have given it zero stars if I could. If you want a great thriller/suspense/horror book to read, check out- A sound in the dark by Kyle Romines.

Review: I like reading this authors books but I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ll buy more. Itโ€™ll just be a library thing. The reason I say this is she has a good style and interesting characters. Her books start out strongly with great storylines but then they just fade off. The exception to this is The Cellar which I do recommend! This particular book started out well and I was intrigued. Even had an interesting twist as far as the culprit. The issue I had is I felt like it went from letโ€™s figure out who did this to oh itโ€™s this person. No hints no clues no mystery. Some of it is just down right unbelievable as far as how the characters behave which is always an issue for me. Push the envelope of reality but donโ€™t break it.Other issue I had was it was like this book couldnโ€™t decide who its audience was. It started out as a sort of teen mystery/suspense then switched to romance and then sort of threw an ending at you. It just needed a bit more cohesiveness to it and the characters needed a bit more depth to make you wonder more.

Review: Mackenzie believes she is going away with her best friends for a parent free weekend at one of her friends family cabin. Little does she know, that will be the weekend that she finally learns the truthโ€ฆ about everything!!Natasha Preston has done it again with this amazing read! I love the easiness and how smooth all her novels read! I find myself staying entertained the entire read! Now with this book, if there was one thing I would change it would be for there to be more jumps! She did an amazing job at always keeping me guessing. She had be always questioning myself about whether or not I know who done it! I love novels where the ending comes a complete shock! I did notice however cough cough that the ending was kind of left open for a sequel!!???????? I would love to know what happens after that explosive ending!!

Title: Disappointed

Review: After reading the synopsis, of course I picked this book up. But my enthusiasm stopped there. I was thoroughly disappointed. The characters were dull and unlovable (minus the few times we meet "mum" who made me laugh). I may be 24, but my teenage years weren't that long ago and the dialogue between these 18-20 year olds was completely unrealistic. I found myself shaking my head and rolling my eyes too often. They were very inconsistent in their thoughts and conversations. And the main character was obnoxiously weak and pathetically whiny- I found myself wanting to seriously knock some sense into her. The book also had a lot of inconsistencies about the characters backgrounds and prior actions. So yes, I finished this book; but that's because I'm completely Type A and had to. But I'm glad I did, seeing as the last 3 chapters were the only interesting part of the entire book... minus the cliff-hanger end of course. I mean, really? Can you be anymore soap opera dramatic? Major eye roll.

Review: 3.5 rounded up.A group of teenagers goes away for the weekend to party at a cabin. When they wake up after a drunken bender, well, not everyone wakes up.This is the kind of book that is usually a perfect fit for me, but this one felt like a bad fit from the start. Still, I wanted to see where the author went with it, so I kept reading. Did it keep me reading? Yes. Was I wowed? No.Teenagers getting killed? Check. Everybody's a suspect? Check. The MC can't trust anybody? Check. This has all the parts, and I can't really put my finger on why, for me, it remained in pieces, so maybe chalk it up to wrong book, wrong time?

Review: This book was what I had been looking for. Something different from my normal.I loved that this was a story mixed with romance, suspense and amazing twists. I was guessing all the way through. I never wouldโ€™ve guessed that ending. The only reason I couldnโ€™t give it 5 stars was because of the ending. She kind of left things hanging and I donโ€™t like that. I wanted a story that was complete with no unanswered questions. I think this book needed an epilogue so the reader isnโ€™t left wondering. But overall it was definitely worth the read.
