7 Paramount Chiefs From The Baoule Ethnic Group In Ivory Coast, An Asante Tribe Visits Asantehene.
An Ivorian delegation, comprising 7 paramount chiefs from the Baoule ethnic group, an Asante tribe, officially informed Asantehene about the demise of former President Henri Konan Bédié on April 8, 2024, during a Kumasi Traditional Council meeting.
The paramount chiefs, led by Nanan Attoh Yapi III, were accompanied by family members of the ex-president, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kakou Gervais, and Hon Mansa Ndia, a member of the Royal family and MP of Sakassou.
