The Book of Enoch is an ancient Hebrew apocalyptic religious text, ascribed by tradition to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah. Enoch contains unique material on the origins of demons and Nephilim, why some angels fell from heaven, an explanation of why the Genesis flood was morally necessary, and prophetic exposition of the thousand-year reign of the Messiah.The older sections (mainly in the Book of the Watchers) of the text are estimated to date from about 300–200 BC, and the latest part (Book of Parables) probably to 100 BC.

Review: I like that the translation was honest. They make it known how they did their best and how they left certain words or parts omitted for reasons they explain clearly. The Book of Enoch fills in a lot of Biblical gaps, giving the reader more of an understanding while taking away their confusion, where there may have been before.

Review: I’ve been wanting to read the book of Enoch and when I purchased this book I was happy with the content. If you are into learning about biblical scriptures, whether you consider yourself Christian or not I recommend this book. It’s the story of how the fallen angels betrayed God by having children with the daughters of men.

Review: I read the book, but I can't say that I got much out of it. Lots of comments about Old Testament history. However, I question whether it's based on solid theology or not--especially the giants in Genesis before the Flood.
