Tell me why I only have to be a friend when you're in need. Common phrase for leeches and parasites; they technically own that sentence. When you don't respond to their needs, you become a bad friend. Mind you, the in need, and indeed, for them, it works hand in hand. It's either their way or the high way.

Profusely, that's not how friendships work. Be careful; I didn't say a friend in need shouldn't be helped. The only thing I'm pointing out is for you to be alert in order not to be taken as a mugu while you think you are helping a friend. Also, ensure that the person you are calling a friend is seeing things in the same light to avoid stories that touch the heart.
