Jack and the Flag of Stars

In a land where dreams took flight,

Lived a boy named Jack, so bright.

Curious eyes and heart so big,

He set off on a flag-themed gig.

One sunny day, he skipped to school,

To learn about a flag so cool.

With colors bold and stars so grand,

Jack held the flag in his small hand.

"Teacher, tell me," Jack did ask,

"Why is our flag such a cherished task?"

Teacher smiled and began to say,

"Jack, let's learn about the U.S. of A."

"See the stars up high, so bright?

They represent each state's light.

From east to west, they proudly stand,

Fifty stars across our land."

"The stripes of red and white, you see,

Tell of courage and unity.

Thirteen colonies long ago,

Together stood, and freedom did they sow."

Jack's eyes widened, filled with glee,

As he learned of history.

He listened close to every tale,

Of heroes brave who'd never fail.

Off to the library, Jack did go,

To learn more things he didn't know.

Books and maps became his friends,

Helping him on this journey's bends.

With each turn of a page or two,

Jack's knowledge of the flag just grew.

He proudly told his family, "Hear,

The flag's a symbol we hold dear."

As Jack grew older, he understood,

The flag's meaning was oh-so-good.

Freedom, unity, a land so grand,

He held it close in his small hand.

And so, young Jack, so full of zest,

Learned about the flag's bequest.

A symbol of a country true,

For Jack, the red, the white, the blue.

In this land where dreams took flight,

Jack shared his newfound flag insight.

A boy so bright, a heart so big,

Passed on the lessons of the flag.

And when he saw the flag on high,

Jack felt his heart swell, oh my!

A land of freedom, shining star,
