The Presbyterian Church in Odukpani served as the solemn backdrop for the final farewell to the esteemed Late Obong Enobong Umanah, fondly known as the "king of boys" for his exceptional leadership qualities and philanthropic endeavors. As a revered Ex-officio of the largest party in Africa, his legacy transcends his untimely departure as mourners gathered to pay their respects and bid him a peaceful rest in Odukpani Local Government Area.

The presence of distinguished dignitaries in attendance bore witness to the indelible mark that Late Obong Enobong Umanah left on the political landscape of Cross River State. The Deputy Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, Chief of Staff to the Government, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, esteemed senators and House of Representative members such as Sen. Ndoma Egba, Sen. Asuquo Ekpenyong, Sen. Florence Ita Giwa, Rt. Hon. Bassey Akiba and

Rt. Hon. Joseph Bassey all stood united in honoring his memory. The Chairman of APC Cross River State, Hon. Mensah, Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Austine Cobham Executive Secretary Carnival Commission, Calabar South constituency 1 & 2 House of Assembly members, APC Calabar South chapter Chairman Pst Otu Marshall, Commissioners and Special Advisers among others beyond party line, paid their respects to a man who epitomized dedication and service.

The Alphonsus Eba-led APC will indeed feel the void left by a dynamic leader whose contributions shaped the party's growth and success in the state. The gathering served as a testament to the impact Late Obong Enobong Umanah had on his community, his party, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. In commemorating the life and legacy of Late Obong Enobong Umanah,
