As the Cross River Under 14 female and male teams gear up to represent their state at the Chief of Naval Staff YSFON one-week Football tournament in Imo state, they are entering a platform that will test their skills and sportsmanship. Under the leadership of Sir Onyeka Onyekwelu, the Technical Director of YSFON Cross River State, the teams have the opportunity to showcase their talent on a national scale and compete for the ultimate prize.

The Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon. Agnes Atsu shared words of encouragement and wisdom with the young athletes as they embark on this journey. She advises them to carry the banner of Cross River State proudly and to be shining examples of sportsmanship and teamwork. The tournament will bring together YSFON academies from across the country, providing a unique opportunity for these players to learn, grow, and foster a strong sense of unity and camaraderie.
