Note to self...

When you pour your best at work and made significant strides and milestones for the office. The bosses will always want to exploit you and lash back at you when you attempt to move out.

Eventually, you regret working hard and making great sacrifices for the sake of the undeserving.

After you expressed your intent to move away, this is what they give you: your hardwork is paid with bashful critism; your sentiments invalidated; your sacrifices and contributions are downgraded; and worst, you are labeled as the one being in the wrong.

They will not count the times you have saved the office and other workmates from producing an oblivous output or doing a crappy job.

This time you realized that working hard is not enough. You have to know how to kiss an ass like the underachieved, arrogant, narcissist, bootlicker novice in the office.

Because of the stress, you wanted to just move along and let the disapointment in your superiors fade but you cannot continue working with the same vigor anymore because some concerns are weighing you down.

And it gets worse, newly appointed superiors now question your credibility and belittle your accomplishments because you now lack the drive to work.

It now comes so hard and suffocating at this point.

Oh how you wish that you could be set free. You dont think of the due recognition and value anymore, just to be able to move away from the irreperable damage you incurred would do enough.

Amidst this ongoing missery, you notice a sudden change within you. An idea came into you mind and you said to yourself, "it is what it is".

You resort to accepting a negative outlook just to get that tiny chance of escaping.

Your only remedy, is to let the people think ill of you and discard you eventually. You have accepted the fact that you can no longer have the honor of a graceful exit.

If they want to make it as you were dumped for being a deadweight, then so be it. Atleast you were able to get out of that hell of a place. You can now have a piece of mind knowing that they will eventually get their part for being abusive.

It's almost pathetic letting them exploit you and left what remains of you to the hungry wolves. On hindsight, I think that it is more easier to deal with the wolves because you now have a fresh start in surving this dog-eat-dog world.

Oh self, I really hope you that you can be able to get out of there.

See you out there when I see you my friend.
