SPEECH PRESENTED BY THE HEAD BOY: 2021/2022

Good morning head teacher, assistant head teacher, teachers, parents and my fellow pupils. It is with great joy that I stand here today to give a speech as the head boy of this great academy. May I use this medium to thank the school authority for given me the privilege to serve as the head boy 2021/2022 academy session. I see it as a privilege and not a right.

School is a place of learning that teaches the students on every aspect of life; academically, physically, mentally, spiritually, etc. Redeemed peoples academy has impacted in us greatly. The School has qualified teachers who are sound academically, socially and spiritually. It has a track record of producing the best pupils in academics and sports in plateau state. We have attended various competitions in the state and come back with trophies. The school has well structured and conducive Classrooms, computer lab, standard football pitch, school buses, spacious environment for all kinds of sports and games. The unique thing about the school is that it has a combination of both academic and moral excellence. It has God fearing teachers and highly sensitive security personnels.

My early days in school was challenging because it took me a while to pick up in class. Thank God for the patience of Mrs. Agom who kept on encouraging me and also my parent who continued to pray and support me.

The privilege of serving as a head boy has opened up my eye of understanding to the role of a leader in a society. A leader is meant to be an example to others and as the head I learnt to be an example to other pupils in moral and in academic performance. He is to be a friend of all and should make every effort to make life easy for his people.

I thank God Almighty for the privilege he gave us to study in this great school. To the teachers, I will like you to know that the person standing before you is a product of your commitment, the person making this speech is a product of your patience. The graduating class sitting in this hall is a prove of your hardwork. Everything we know now about education you thought us. You thought us the alphabet, you thought us numbers, you thought us to read and write. We will forever be grateful. Thank you our able Head teacher Mrs. Gloria Charles, thank you assistant head teacher Mr. Abah for the discipline. Thank you Mrs. Agom, Mrs. Noah, Mrs. Stela, Mrs. Wale, Mrs. Ezera, Mrs Yohanna, Mrs. Ayinde, Mr. Asogwa, Mr. Solomon, Mrs. Madu, Mrs. KC, Mrs. Maxwell, Mrs. Tarah, Mrs Magnus and Mrs Oteri, Just to mention a few and all the academic and non- academic staff. You have really laboured to mould us. May God reward you. Your labour will never be in vain, I will miss you all.

To our parents thank you for your sacrifice and support. May God honour you. To my fellow graduating pupils, the journey just started, remember that “THE PROVE OF DESIRE IS PURSUIT” whatever you desire to become be ready to make the necessary sacrifice and pursue it for without pursuit no desire will come to pass. To the rest of the pupils, continue to uphold the image of this great school. We are known with good morals and academic excellence. Let it not die in your hands.

Once again, thank you everybody and God bless you.
