Sad Poetry About Trust Issues

In shadows cast by love's cruel ruse,

There dwells a man named Saad, abused.

A soul with trust issues, heart askew,

His breaking tale I now imbue.

Once, he wore a smile so bright,

Believed in love, in pure delight.

But past betrayals left him scarred,

In fractured trust, his heart was marred.

In love's sweet dance, he found a flame,

A tender heart, an empty name.

She vowed devotion, claimed to care,

Yet secrets lurked, a heart laid bare.

Behind her eyes, deceit took hold,

As Saad's suspicions slowly rolled.

A tragic play, a scripted lie,

Their love soon withered, left to die.

He questioned every word she spoke,

The seeds of doubt relentlessly stoked.

But truth was veiled, concealed so well,

And in his heart, the pain did swell.

He sought solace in the night,

As stars wept tears, and darkness might,

Embrace his sorrow, deep and vast,

A love betrayed, now lost, the past.

With heavy heart and tear-stained eyes,

He bid farewell to sweetest lies.

No longer could he bear the pain,

The shattered trust, the endless strain.

In broken fragments, love had died,

In Saad's heart, a void did reside.

With courage waning, he set her free,

But still, the scars would never flee.

Alas, the man named Saad would roam,

A haunted heart, no place to call home.

His trust in love, forever marred,

In shadows cast, he stands, love scarred.
