I walk amidst the bustling, conscious throng.
Yet thoughts of you, unbidden, mesmerize,
As if our souls were bound, forever long.
Your laughter dances in the gentle breeze,
Soft whispers echo, though you're far away.
A phantom touch, a fleeting moment seized,
Emotions swirl, where dreams and wakefulness sway.
How strange, this yearning that defies the day,
As though my heart and mind have been set free.
In dreams and wakefulness, you find your way,
Forever intertwined, you're part of me.
