The Leadership of the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria , RIFAN ,the National Working Committee ,the Coalition of the State Chairmen of RIFAN and other Commodities Union in the 37 States of the Federation had meet to conduct an election for the post of the elapsed tenure of the National Executives on the 19th of July ,2023 in Abuja. 

And To the Glory of Almighty God , Alhaji Aminu Muhammadu Goronyo was Elected the National President of Nigerian Farmers ,RIFAN , Other Commodities. The annual General meeting was best of its kind as every state was given a leverage to profer a solution for a way forward : 

The National President (Elect ) Alhaji Aminu Mohammadu Goronyo in his acceptance speech promise to intensify effort towards promoting Food security in the country in concordance with President Tinubu Declaration on Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture: the President also pointed out a need for  an effective training and Re-training of the State Chairman on the Néw Terminology and technology for an Advanced methodology on Farming Practice , Seed Production, Processing etc to Boom Agricultural Production in Nigeria :
