Review: I ordered and bought the paperback version of the book but also requested a sample of it on my kindle while I waited. I read the sample and could not wait to receive the hard copy so I could continue reading this incredible book! My mother passed away from Alzheimer’s about a year ago and this book triggered lots of memories both sad and many happy moments were brought to the surface. It’s exactly what I needed to be more at peace with the loss of my mother! Jodi had me wanting more when the book ended so I read it again and I’m sure I’ll read it many more times. I bought the hard copy to share with my five siblings it’s a must read!!!

Review: This book was a beautiful and very emotional read for me. As I read each section, I could feel the love the author was giving to her mother and also the pain she was going through. Alzheimer’s Disease is such a devastating and cruel one, but the author handled it head on with her Mom and made the best of what she could! This is a well written account of how a daughter addresses her mother’s progressing Alzheimer’s Disease and how they go through this battle together. You will feel the emotions the author was having by reading her words. 5 stars!!!
PS I now want to learn how to make Lemon AND Rhubarb bars!

Review: You can feel the love in every word. I loved the book, and am still sorting through the emotions it triggered. The love, the pain, the anger and heartache on my own journey with aging parents, dementia, and illness. The feeling that I could have, and should have, done better, and knowing that no amount would really change it. The struggle with parent care, job, and my own family came flooding back. Thank God for the support that family and friends give.

Review: I honestly wasn't sure I could finish this book. My father passed away due to brain cancer, which came with memory loss and confusion. So I went into it with mixed emotions.
But I could not put this book down. This story of true love and sacrifice by mother and daughter blew me away. I will cherish this book and the story it tells. I hope to see more work from this wonderful new author.
