They said, "work hard if you want to be rich,"

so we worked until we drop.

But those hardships only worth a dime,

not even enough to buy meals for the day.

They said, "stop being lazy if you want to improve,"

so we grinded until we can't move.

And yet, we are still at the bottom,

barely surviving the currents of life.

They said, "you are not doing your best that's why you're stuck,"

so we gave our all until there's nothing left.

But how can we be still the same old person?

How can we be still hardly living?

They call us lazy for having no progress,

for remaining at the bottom of hierarchy.

But, poverty was not due to laziness,

Some are victims of circumstances.

Life is hard, especially if no one sees the problem.

In a world where the poor has no voice,

and the rich are blind and deft,

how can we see the daylight that everyone deserves?

Equity and equality, which is which?

Business and charity, which weighs more?

In a world full of total opposites,

can we make an agreement and solve the glaring problem?
