In a recent development, the National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, officially appointed six Governors as zonal coordinators during a ceremony held at the Party's National Secretariat. The primary objective of this appointment is to foster unity, strengthen the Party, and work towards realizing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda.

Here are the appointed Governors and their respective zones:

- Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni – North East

- Kaduna State Governor, Sen. Uba Sani – North West

- Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahaman Abdulrazak – North Central

- Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma – South East

- Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu – South West

- Cross River State Governor, Sen. Bassey Otu – South South

The appointments are expected to further the Party's goals and enhance cooperation among the different regions.
