The brand new District 404 A3 took off on a bright note on Saturday the first day in July with a retreat for Region and Zone Chairpersons/Cabinet Officers at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI, Alausa Ikeja put together by the GAT team, headed by Lion Olawale Afolabi.

The District Governor, Lion Adeniyi Balogun, kicked off the retreat with his opening/welcome remarks via Zoom app. which detailed the plans and goals of the District for the Lions year.

The retreat was an absolute success and a sure way of equipping the various officers for the tasks ahead.

Some of the facilitators are the IPDG, Lion Ano Anyanwu, FVDG Lion Folasade Shotomide, SVDG Lion Mary Onu, Lion Marcel Akhame, Lion Ahmed Ajayi, Lion Awote who stood in for Lion Omotunde Johnson, Lion Joyce Akpata, and Lion Omotola Peter-Akrawa.

Awards were also presented by the GAT advisory team to the District Governor,IPDG,FVDG,2VDG, and other facilitators and Lion leaders in recognition of their support for the task ahead and in recognition of their contributions to Lionism

The outgone District Governor Lion Ano Anyanwu was also decorated as the immediate past District Governor at the retreat .
