On this day we celebrate

The man who's always there

Through thick and thin, he never falters

Our rock, our guide, our care

He taught us how to walk and talk

And cheered us on each day

He held our hands when we were scared

And wiped our tears away

He worked so hard to give us life

And showed us how to love

He sacrificed and gave his all

To bless us from above

So on this special day we honor

The one who gave us birth

We thank him for his strength and love

And celebrate his worth

We cherish every moment spent

With our dear father true

And pray that God will bless him
