The Kazungula Town Council launched a tree-planting exercise at the Kazungula Council Lodge, aimed at promoting environmental sustainability.
The council's efforts to promote sustainable practices through this exercise is certainly noteworthy and sets a positive example for others to follow.
Kazungula Town Council chairperson her Worship Mbozi Tatila, was present at the event and unveiled the exercise's theme as "Keep Kazungula Clean and Healthy".
During the exercise, Tatila announced that the exercise would eventually be rolled out to all 16 wards in the district. This initiative would not only contribute to the district's beautification, but also to the overall health and well-being of its residents.
