Ramadan mubrrak
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and is considered one of the holiest months for Muslims around the world. It is a time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community for millions of Muslims worldwide.
The most significant aspect of Ramadan is fasting, known as "Sawm" in Arabic. Fasting during Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and is obligatory for all adult Muslims, with exceptions for the elderly, pregnant or nursing women, travelers, and those who are ill. During the fast, Muslims abstain from food, drink, smoking, and marital relations from dawn until sunset. The pre-dawn meal is called "Suhoor," and the meal to break the fast at sunset is called "Iftar."
