Parents of children in kids hospital complain about their children not eating and experiencing loss of appetite.

This was disclosed during an interview with some parents at the hospital on Sunday 7th May 2022 in Ilorin.

According to one of the parent, Mrs Wahaab, she said “My baby have not been eating lately and although I have gotten some Multicultural Vitamins drug for him and I see little changes but then it’s still the same overall”.

She continue by saying she feels bothered about the situation and this has made her unhappy.

Another parent that wish to claim anonymity said “My boy is 3 years and he doesn’t look it because he won’t eat”. "We have complained to the doctor and she has prescribed some drugs for us, in which i hope and pray to see changes soon.

Doctor Kemisola, a well acknowledged doctor in the kid hospital says, "The kids that are not eating well have Malnutrition and it’s makes them suffer from stunted growth, weakened immune systems and also some other health problems.

Doctor Kemisola therefore urges the parents of kids having such symptoms to pay proper attention to their kids diet and ensure to complete whatever dosage of drugs prescribed for them in order for them to regain the nutrition in their body system that they have lost and in the case where there are no changes, such parent should make sure to come back to the hospital to make Further complaints as "Our Children are Our future, thus their health should be of great importance to us".
