As clandestine whispers rose and mattered.

In hidden corners, secrecy thrived,

Two souls entwined, their senses revived.

But Fate, that ever-watchful guide,

Conspired to halt this wayward ride.

The wife, her instincts restless stirred,

Unveiling secrets, love deferred.

Within their sanctuary, love's deceit,
