IF I DIE TODAY

TITLE: IF I DIE TODAY.

POET: ABDULLATIF KHALID.

If I die today, what tales untold,

Will scatter like seeds, never to unfold?

Will my dreams be buried, forever concealed,

Or shall they rise like phoenix, unconcealed?

If I die today, what melodies will fade,

In the symphony of life, a mournful cascade?

Will my laughter be silenced, echoes lost,

Or shall it linger in hearts, a joyous exhaust?

If I die today, what words will be unsaid,

In the tapestry of thoughts, left incomplete, thread?

Will my voice be muted, silence its toll,

Or shall it resonate, stirring every soul?

If I die today, what passions will expire,

In the embers of time, consumed by fire?

Will my love be forgotten, a whisper's trace,

Or shall it endure, a beacon of grace?

But fear not, dear world, for though I may depart,

My spirit shall linger, etched in every heart.

For in the legacy I leave behind, you'll find,

A testament to life, in moments intertwined.

So if I die today, let not sorrow consume,

But celebrate the moments, like flowers in bloom.

Embrace the fleeting beauty, seize the fleeting breath,

For in life's transience, lies the dance of death.
