Back in the year 2014, Hazon's daughter Love had a confrontation with her uncle Peter who happens to be Hazon's brother. Peter visited Hazon and his family and met Love in severe pains and never sympathize or say a word to her. Rejoice took Love to the nearby pharmacy for medications. When they got home, Love was much more better and was having a nice time with her siblings. As Peter passed by the girls room he heard Love interacting with her siblings and then he made a statement mocking her saying, "Love you can now laugh and talk when you were busy crying and disturbing the whole house like a baby." Love kept mute and was trying to control her anger at this point. Love hates when someone makes fun or talks bad about her health. Peter went further to make gest of her health, "won't you answer me? I am talking to you", he spoke angrily.

Love could not take it anymore and bust out in anger and went to confront him. "Uncle, with all due respect I don't like the way you talked about my health, why did you make such statements about my condition?'' Peter got offended and replied angrily, "why are you challenging me? so you have the audacity to challenge me?" Love replied, "uncle I am not challenging you." They argued to the point that Peter wanted to fight his niece. Hazon had to step into the situation, unknowingly to Peter, Hazon heard and saw everything that happened. When Hazon asked Peter what the problem was, Peter lied against his niece and Hazon immediately rebuked him and told him he saw and heard everything that transpired. Peter was so angry because he thought his brother will side with him over his daughter, and he left the house angry. Peter held this in his heart against Hazon and Love for two years.

Proverbs 26:24 says, "Enemies disguise themselves with their lips, but in their heart they harbor deceit."

In year 2016, during the period of Papa Tanko's stay at Hazon's house, Jafar his brother was celebrating his birthday and invited his siblings to his house for a get together. Jafar used the opportunity to speak out and said to them, "we are all brothers and sisters, we are one family and we should all unite and be in love, peace and harmony. Anyone who is having problem should speak out so we won't hold grudges against each other in one way or another." Everyone spoke respectfully and said they have no issues except Peter. Peter spoke violently against his elder brother Hazon in regards to the event that happened in 2014 when there was a confrontation with his niece. Peter reigned insults and abusive words against Hazon and indirectly insulted his daughter Love.

Hazon was filled with rage because he could no longer tolerate the disrespect and hurtful words against him. Hazon stood up, went outside and took an amount of sand in his hand and spoke to it laying a curse on Peter and said, "If truly you are my brother and we suckled from the same breast from the mother that birth us, you will not know peace and you will suffer for the rest of your life." As Hazon was about to throw the sand into the air his sister Hauwa caught his hand and threw the sand back to the ground and started pleading and begging to have mercy. The rest of the siblings knelt down and begged on behalf of their brother but except Peter.

Few days later, Peter went to Hazon's house to see how their father is doing. As soon as he saw Hazon in the living room he was so reluctant to ask for forgiveness because of his pride. Peter apologized as though they forced him to say the word "sorry". Peter never meant the apology from his heart, he only did it to fulfill all righteousness. Hazon looked at him and shook his head and told him he has forgiven him and has put it behind him.
